The 2017 Summer school of ISSAE took place in Brussels from July 7 to 15. It was entirely focused on Urban Agroecology.
The Summer school flyer and the PowerPoints of some of the Conferences are below.
ISSAE is committed to Active Learning and more precisely to Project Based Learning. Therefore, other than attending the conferences, students mainly worked around projects. Each project was initially presented by a tutor to a group of students, and a task was assigned to the groups. In Brussels, the students worked in four groups, each around a particular case study – Permafungi, GASAP, « Dames blanches », and « Ferme du chant des cailles ».
The last day of the Summer school was devoted to a Open Bar camp where each group of students presented the result of their work in front of the project leaders and general public.
